Made using a blend of SBR rubber and natural gum rubber, it is thick and durable enough to function in demanding construction and industrial applications. This thick rubber is able to resist physical abrasions with ease. Given its excellent physical strength, this skirting rubber is popular for use as snowplow blades.
A Very Hard Rubber: This is one of the toughest and most durable rubber products we have to offer. It possesses a high durometer rating of 65-75. Although its flexibility is very limited, it more than makes up for it in its durability and resistance to physical indentation. You will find that it is very hard to physically dent or damage the surface area of skirtboard rubber. It is an excellent quality to have for applications where abrasion resistance is mandatory.
Variety of Gauges: Our Skirtboard rubber material comes in a variety of different thickness gauges so that you can have the right part for your application. We offer gauges that range from 1/8” to 2” thick upon request. The thickness of a skirting rubber part can correlate with its durability and effectiveness. Therefore, the thicker the material, the more long-lasting the rubber part will be.
