As one of our more heat resistant products, this brown silicone rubber sheet brings to the table a unique brown color and enough flexibility to be used in commercial level applications where physical properties are not crucial. With a durometer rating of 50 Shore A, it is capable of operating in very extreme temperatures both cold and hot. This commercial grade silicone rubber is popular for use as gasket material in a range of applications, such as laboratory and automotive equipment that involve high temperatures.
UV and Ozone Resistant: This brown silicone rubber material brings with it the benefit of being able to resist the damaging effects of UV rays and ozone. Given time, these elemental factors can wreak havoc on a material's body. The damage done is usually in the form of cracking and discoloration. This silicone rubber sheet, however, is able to survive much longer when exposed to these outdoor factors.
Survives Extreme Temperatures: Silicone rubber material is prized for being able to operate in temperatures that are well beyond normal. This brown colored silicone rubber sheet has a durometer rating of 50 Shore A. In the overall scale of durometer ratings, 50A is a lower end score that indicates a flexible rubber product.
